Like most people, my first exposure to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was after the original animated series debuted in the late 1980s. When I went back and read the original comics featuring the TMNT, I was shocked by how violent and weird the series was. With the new film having been released over the weekend, on ComicBook.com, I thought I would go back to the original Kevin Eastman/Peter Laird TMNT run and pick out eight of the wackiest moments from the series.
