Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock the past few weeks, you might have heard that Marvel has reacquired its license to print Star Wars comics. And with the first issue, which was published yesterday, selling more than one million advanced copies, I’d say it was a pretty buzz-worthy comic in every sense of the word. With that in mind, on ComicBook.com, I thought I’d stoke the fires of the hype machine and take a look back at the 10 most buzzed about comic releases from the past 25 years; aka, the golden era of comic book sales and marketing gimmicks.
