Today, I provided the Sequart Research & Literacy Organization with another injection of the Webhead with my analysis on Spider-Man’s “no kill code,” and how the Superior Spider-Man series has thrown 50 years of tradition and history out the window in favor of a hero who’s not afraid to “cross the line” if terminal violence can be justified. This post basically gave me an excuse to talk about some great arcs of the past (“Death of Gwen Stacy/Green Goblin,” “The Death of Jean DeWolff”) and how Dan Slott is putting a mirror up to these issues and then turning everything on its ear in Superior Spider-Man.
