Today, I make my long-awaited return guest blogging for one of my favorite comic book sites around the Internet, Longbox Graveyard. This post is the comic book blogging equivalent of a two-for-one sale: I cover the sometimes acrimonious, sometimes heart-warming relationship between two of my all-time favorite characters, Human Torch, and of course, Spider-Man. I’ve included material from a number of different storylines, spanning multiple comic book series such as early Amazing Spider-Man comics and the long-forgotten Strange Tales Annual #2, alongside some modern classics like Dan Slott’s 2005 Spider-Man/Human Torch mini-series, and Jonathan Hickman’s Fantastic Four #600. If you’re a fan of either of these characters (and I know you gotta love at least one if you’re reading this post on my site), please check it out and leave some comments either at LBG, or over here.
